Ready to build it, and is it the right thing to build
84 questions · about 25 minutes
What you will learn
Three things, clearly.
- How your comfort with risk, drive to run your own thing and resourcefulness set you up for the long unpaid middle.
- Whether you want to build this thing, or mostly want out of working for someone else.
- How clearly you have seen the opportunity, and what is still worth testing before you commit.

Where this comes from
This reads two things side by side. Readiness draws on the non-cognitive predictors of building something hard over time, including risk tolerance, autonomy orientation, resourcefulness and motivation quality from self-determination research. Rightness draws on entrepreneurial self-efficacy research: how clearly you see the opportunity, how ready you are for uncertainty, how you think about marshalling resources, plus a tested sense of fit and how well you decided. It offers two honest readings and a short prep map, not a single score and not a verdict.
