Getting started

How to use ManaSmurti.

ManaSmurti is three things in one place. A daily chat, a library of short practices, and a set of self-knowledge assessments. Use whichever sits right today. Here is how to begin.

In your first five minutes

Three small things, then you are in.

  1. Make an account

Eighteen or older. Email and a password, or sign in with Google. Under a minute.

  2. Read the short welcome

Forty-five seconds. What ManaSmurti is, what it is not, and the three quiet ways in.

  3. Pick whatever sits right today

A chat, a short practice, or an assessment. Start anywhere. You can move between them.

What you can ask about

Anything you would put in a private journal.

ManaSmurti is built for the everyday weight of being a person. Some things people find themselves writing about, often:

  • Work pressure that is starting to spill over into evenings
  • A conversation with a parent or partner that did not go the way you wanted
  • A decision you keep putting off and the loop in your head about it
  • A loss that is recent, or one that turned out to be deeper than you expected
  • A stretch of low days you cannot explain to anyone, including yourself
  • Something that happened years ago and still surfaces at odd times

What it is not for

Three things to know.

  1. Crisis

If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please reach a real person trained for that moment. The Help right now page lists current Indian helplines. Help right now.

  2. Diagnosis

ManaSmurti will not tell you whether you have anxiety, depression, ADHD, or anything else. For that, a registered mental health professional is the right person.

  3. Prescriptions or sustained treatment

Medication, therapy across months, structured programmes. ManaSmurti is the layer below those, not a replacement.

Ready when you are.

No rush, no streak to keep. Begin with one small thing today.
