Getting started
How to use ManaSmurti.
ManaSmurti is three things in one place. A daily chat, a library of short practices, and a set of self-knowledge assessments. Use whichever sits right today. Here is how to begin.
In your first five minutes
Three small things, then you are in.
Make an account
Eighteen or older. Email and a password, or sign in with Google. Under a minute.
Read the short welcome
Forty-five seconds. What ManaSmurti is, what it is not, and the three quiet ways in.
Pick whatever sits right today
A chat, a short practice, or an assessment. Start anywhere. You can move between them.
Track one
Start with a chat.
When the head is loud and you just need somewhere to put the thought.
Make an account
Eighteen or older. Email and a password, or sign in with Google.
Read the short welcome
A short note explaining what ManaSmurti is, what it is not, and the three quiet ways in. Forty-five seconds. Worth reading.
Open a chat
Write what is on your mind. A sentence is enough. ManaSmurti will respond, ask gently, and let you steer the rest of the conversation.
Try a short practice if it helps
Steady for the unsettled day. Crossroads for a decision that will not decide. Chai Break for the five minutes between things. Each one is short.
Come back when you need to
No streaks, no badges. Come back at midnight, on the bus, on the toilet, whenever the head is loud and you want a quiet place to put the thought.
Track two
Build a daily practice.
Short practices, quick check-ins, and assessments you read at your own pace.
Make an account
Eighteen or older. Email and a password, or sign in with Google.
Browse the practice library
Pick the one that fits today. Steady, Crossroads, Chai Break, Sangam, Name It, Virama. Each one is five to twelve minutes.
Do a short check-in
WHO-5 takes about a minute. A quiet read of how the last two weeks have actually been. The report is yours, not anyone else's.
Take an assessment when you are ready
WorkStyle DNA, EQ Profile, Leadership Readiness, Drivers and Values Map, Cognitive Edge, Resilience and Recovery. Ten to fifteen minutes each.
Read your report
Talk it through with a friend, a coach, or with ManaSmurti. The report goes to your inbox, not your employer.
Track three
For your team.
Your company gave you access, and your account is still yours alone.
Look for the welcome email from your HR team
It will come from your company name and link to a sign-in page. Use your work email. Sign in once and the device remembers you.
Read the visibility note
ManaSmurti is private. Helping HR comes only through aggregated signals, never any one person's text. The first screen says exactly what HR can see and what they cannot.
Open a chat. Try a practice. Take an assessment
All three modes work the same way for corporate users as for individuals. Your chat is yours. Your assessment report is yours.
Optionally answer the monthly pulse
Three to five quick questions, opt-in, voluntary. Aggregated only when a group has five or more. Skip if you would rather. It will not affect your access.
Use it on any device
Personal phone is fine. Browser at work is fine. Your account moves with you.
Take it with you when you leave the company
Your personal account survives. You keep your history at your option. The company loses access to your pulse data immediately.
What you can ask about
Anything you would put in a private journal.
ManaSmurti is built for the everyday weight of being a person. Some things people find themselves writing about, often:
- Work pressure that is starting to spill over into evenings
- A conversation with a parent or partner that did not go the way you wanted
- A decision you keep putting off and the loop in your head about it
- A loss that is recent, or one that turned out to be deeper than you expected
- A stretch of low days you cannot explain to anyone, including yourself
- Something that happened years ago and still surfaces at odd times
What it is not for
Three things to know.
Crisis
If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please reach a real person trained for that moment. The Help right now page lists current Indian helplines. Help right now.
Diagnosis
ManaSmurti will not tell you whether you have anxiety, depression, ADHD, or anything else. For that, a registered mental health professional is the right person.
Prescriptions or sustained treatment
Medication, therapy across months, structured programmes. ManaSmurti is the layer below those, not a replacement.
Ready when you are.
No rush, no streak to keep. Begin with one small thing today.
